MARY'S HOPE & FRIENDS

Mary's Hope & Friends is a Therapeutic Equestrian Riding/Driving Program that takes place at Indian Lake Stables & Riding Academy. It is located at 1976 Stop Thirty Rd, Hendersonville, TN 37075.

Equipment: We have 2 carts that can be used by those with special needs. Both carts have been custom designed.

Wheelchair Accessible Cart. This cart has a drop down rear entry gate in order to load the wheelchair and then has a seat that lowers down behind the wheelchair for the driver. The wheelchair is locked in place and then strapped down to the cart.

Easy Entry Cart. This cart is capable of handling those that can get out of their wheelchair and ride beside a driver. It has an easy rear entry step up with a bench seat.

Mission Statement

To give those with special needs an opportunity to interact with horses. This program is dedicated to promoting whole child wellness through equine assisted therapy. We believe that equine assisted therapy enriches the lives of those with special needs and provides the opportunity to gain life skills necessary to grow and thrive.

Riding/Driving Schedule

June through October, 2 Sundays a month

@ 1 pm for a 30 minute ride.
